Onethird Celsius Development Update
Award recognitions, new research contract, and development acceleration in China set the stage for Onethird to deliver breakthrough sleep technology.
Celsius recognised with engineering awards
On May 27, 2026, Onethird's engineering team showcased Celsius at the University of Melbourne Endeavour Exhibition. The team were awarded the People's Choice Merit Award and the Mechatronic Engineering Discipline Merit Award.
Research contract with the University of Melbourne
On June 15, 2026, Onethird entered into a research contract with the University of Melbourne. Sleep studies will be conducted in the John Trinder Sleep Lab, where participants will sleep on Celsius overnight. Celsius's breakthrough sensor array will provide unprecedented sleep temperature data to train SERA, the world's first sleep thermal comfort prediction AI.
Onethird in China
On June 21, 2026, Onethird engineers arrived in Shenzhen, China, for the product's next phase of development. The move enables Onethird to collaborate closely with world-class suppliers and manufacturers. Celsius remains on track for timely fulfilment.
