Onethird Copyright Policy
Updated January 8, 2026
Ownership of Intellectual Property
All content and intellectual property on the Onethird website, applications, and within our hardware products—including but not limited to text, software, code, scripts, graphics, photos, sounds, music, videos, interactive features, and "look and feel"—are owned by or licensed to Onethird Technology Pty Ltd.
This includes our proprietary SERA (Sleep Environment Regulating Algorithm) models and the thermal-mapping algorithms used in SOMA. These works are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of Australia and international conventions.
Limited License to Use
Onethird grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to enter and use our website and apps for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not modify, publish, transmit, participate in the transfer or sale of, reproduce, create derivative works from, distribute, or in any way exploit any of the content, in whole or in part, without express written permission from Onethird.
Unauthorised use of Onethird’s intellectual property may result in the immediate termination of your user account and legal action.
SOMA Software and Firmware
The software and firmware embedded in SOMA and the Onethird App are licensed, not sold, to you. Onethird retains all rights, title, and interest in the software. Any attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the SERA model or SOMA hardware is strictly prohibited and constitutes a violation of this policy.
User-Generated Content
If you post or upload content to our platform (such as usernames, sleep journal entries, or community feedback), you grant Onethird a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with our services.
As per our Privacy Policy, any user-generated content that contains sleep data or personal metrics is fully de-identified before use.
You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to any content you provide to us.
Copyright Infringement Claims (DMCA)
Onethird respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide our Copyright Agent with the following information:
A physical or electronic signature of the person authorised to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest.
A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
A description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the Site.
Your address, telephone number, and email address.
A statement by you that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
